Re: Weapons revamp
I think both of you have some good ideas, but that neither is that much of a change. The problem with Whyte's ideas are that you still do not need to think very much: cycle through the weapons, firing 20, 4, 1. Perhaps that is not optimal, but I suspect some cycle is (and will be found). Meanwhile ...

Re: Web Hosting expires in 3 months
There's a multitude of scandinavian alternatives; one.com costs med about 250 sek/yr, which is about $40/yr, for 5 gb of space. I think that's the cheapest one. Some of us have servers at home too I'm sure, but they are usually prone to stability issues...

Re: Upgrades
Yes, something like this would make for more interesting upgrades, and more choice. Focus on SS or eco at the start? Splitting miner energy/hull upgrades from the other SS would do something similar. I'm not sure things like this would solve the problems, but I hope that they would lesser them ...

Re: Upgrades
Yes, the increase in upgrade price wouldn't solve the problem I experience at all; new/reworked upgrades would.
Take the transfers as an example: which one your team choses actually changes how you play (at least somewhat).
Also all upgrades to the BC fail to change much because the BC isn't very ...

Upgrades
Something I very much dislike about CC is the way upgrades and the metagame works. The upgrades console give an illusion of freedom, and I'm always dissapointed to realize that it is, in fact, not very free at all.
Mostly there's a fixed metagame that almost everyone adheres to. Sometimes people ...

Re: Wiki edits, rewards and a new administrator.
Isn't that somewhat unjust due to diffrent amounts of members. And it seems that would be difficult to administrate: you'd have to manually update the map when a new level is reached. But I'm generally positive to clan-based rewards and promotions

Re: Wiki edits, rewards and a new administrator.
Hi everyone
Titles seems like a nice thing - maybe it's a good idea to have some kind of reward that is only accessible by community-helping (wikiedits, forum posts) and not by rep.
