i do love certain aspects of the size increase, i'd think even a 10% reduction of size is good. Just to keep the scale of ship size in comparison to a destroyer decent. But the most important issue as corinth agreed is the passing through the bc, i agree that not one ship should be able to pass through the bc after the deployment invuln. Miners even can be emped to prevent a dock, however if they are hiding inside the bc all they have to do is wait.

why not just keep the bc big, and prevent small ship overlap after undock?

Please realize everyone that actual BC area was not increased by 50%. Radius was increased by 50%.
In total, area size of BC increased to 225% its original size (1.5^2). Perhaps something like a 40% increase would have been better, as that would double the area of the bc approximately.
