Unfortunately, the game only saves to 1000 replays of the same map but I've moved folders a couple of times. Therefore, I only know I have at least 2700 games played on this computer and over 500 on my other . I know I cheated my way to the rep in-game, but I have actually earned it technically. I love playing my own game and I think it's awesome. As for the latest updates: I played around 300 games on this computer (approximately same amount of games on my other computer) in March.IvanX wrote: Well, i am not sure how many games you played so far, usually developers don't enjoy playing their own maps that much, but i'm pretty sure i played it more on the latest updates by at least 5 times, and a lot and much more has changed in balance since older versions, and from what i figured, every 3rd new version you gotta play differently. So from my point of view, we just need to make a decent games with equal teams. One side will have those who think 150% core+ is suicide, and second team - thinking it's really worth it and it's great as it is now and then see who'll win.
As for balancing, I cant think of any changes to the core decay rate since it was introduced. There are some things you could mention:
* Purge core plasma(doesn't make it harder, the opposite really. Supports my argument, not yours)
* Emergency shield energizer(Optional, doesn't really support your argument. I argue that I use it even when I really increase the core high)
* Sabretooth and yamato draining core stability(Been like that since 0.999f and it's still not your argument since you're complaining that the core decay is too FAST, not that it makes you vulnerable due to missiles and even so, I've played a LOT since 0.999f and I still want to argue my point)
I'd like to argue that your point of view is wrong. It's not a question of playing a game to see who's and who's wrong. Core output 150% is situational and not always necessary. You cant just play a game and determine if it's worth it or not. It is a risk I'm taking after all, and it doesn't always pan out.
