Hi folks, I just wanted to post here to to advertise the recent 0.8 video update of the standalone game:
Couple of highlights:

- Completely Redesigned UI
- AI for every role, plus an overseer that reassigns them based on what's needed right now
- Improved interior where you can see projectiles being shot outside, explosions and hull breaches inside, repairing the ship, etc.
- Alert system when shields are low, ships are detected, core stability is critical, etc
- Missiles/broadsides, etc
- Border wrapping
- Persistent profiles with match history, stats, etc
