Cruiser Command

Here's a challenge mode for folks with way, way, way too much rep to try out. Try pulling it off and post replays of what strategies you come up with!

The challenge is: No Shields. This means, when the round starts, you must turn the BC's shields to 0 GW, and leave it there for the rest of the game. In addition, you may not buy small shields for ships. (EDIT: The corvette's reflective shield is okay to use)

In addition, some generic rules: Games must be 6v6. If people leave before the kermiculite spawns, or if the teams get imbalanced by 2 or more, the game doesn't count. Winning before the 20 minute mark technically counts, but rushing is not in the spirit of the challenge.

First team to post a (non-rush) success replay gets bragging rights.

This sounds like a great idea. I can't wait to see what people do with it.

Is it supposed to be for one team only or for both teams?

Golden and i yesterday tried to win with only missles, (that turned out badly lol) and called it a challange as well. We did end up winning but failed the chalange after using the penta and broads =( challange failed but yes, try and win with only using missles (ship attacks are fine except destroyers are not allowed, you cant fire with BC on small ships unless you use missles) Have fun!~

It's intended for one team but if both teams do it that's no prob.

posted our first clan challenge on the other topic, Looking for replays. and the second time is available as well. Another challenge we had was Kill the enemy bc with only a wraith, and kill the bc with only a corvette. after getting all enemy members to rage quit due to being annoying on the wraith, i took my time killing the cruiser and did both xD just for the ability to say i did it haha

i only run if i cant win with my current hull or energy and that isnt often :p

ha, that's because when you venture out in a small ship he kills you before you can even get a good look at him.
