I believe a wraiths emp duration should hinder the ability to dock onto your bc, logically a ship thats dead in the water wouldn't be able to dock anyways. This would provide a small counter to chomper tank docking.

Attacking a miner near the bc is dangerous enough as it is, the main purpose of this suggestion is not for the miner kill near the bc but rather for the destroyer and chomper tanking that revolves around frequent docks. It makes sense for a ship with temporary halted power not to be able to dock onto the bc, i think this would make a nice addition to the balance of bc combat.

The fact that repairs occur instantaneously after docking is the real issue here. Correct that issue and the problem of unrealistic Chomper/Vette/Destroyer shielding comes under control. Still, I like the idea of EMP hindering docking anyways. Agree with the general premise.

well we were going to have the idea of seeing your ship in the hangar kind of like in WC3 but im not really against auto healing to full, we could make if this idea is implemented a % base if the ship was inside BC so you could directly view it and its hull and stats and stuff...

im aware merwin, but making the system of which heals over time when docking as it should will take a while. Currently the heals are instant because a new ship is created each time you dock and launch, he needs to create a memory system per dock slot per ship which will be kinda difficult in my eyes :p this at least makes the problem a little less intense for the period of time in which it takes to make the docking system different.

This should've been implemented with 1.92. I know EMP is bugged in other ways(but I published a fix 2 minutes ago). If someone could confirm that EMP actually blocks docking, that'd be great.

It does block docking.

however the ships preparing to dock just hide inside the bc until able, another measure is needed.
