Wasp Missiles

Remember that 3rd missile that you can buy that does some energy damage and messes with power?
probably not
but it seems like the wasp missile raises each power setting by 5 (engines, sheilds and weps)
now this may be helpful if you are testing stuff by yourself and you want some sheilds from the enemy but in the middle of a combat its counter-productive to help the enemy raise their power even if you want them to short out on energy reserves it wont really help
i suggest reducing each power setting by 10 and raising core stability by 5% (or maby add an upgrade that will affect core stability), a good power guy will be right on it, but hell it will screw with things and thats what i want this missile to do.
also make cost 5B 5R so that it can be used as a cheap source to combat the enemy
plus many agree that reducing the costs of missiles will better amount of missile used by both sides and not just end-game sheild bashers. (except predators they are pretty damn worth it and kermaculite, gotta have some ultimant warhead in the game)

I think reducing the costs of missiles is an excellent idea.

its always ben implied to do it, making missiles more viable but not buffing their damage to an insane point to make em cost effective. where has that ben posted?

Their viability has been consistently marred by the fact that broadsides do more DPS, broadsides are easier to aim (since it's the same person firing and aiming), broadsides don't cost money to fire (they cost energy but they are very energy efficient weapons), and they don't need reloading.

With the exception of predators, the general reason I ever buy missiles is because we have too much money. The principle time missiles get used is in the initial strike and when chasing, since you can shoot missiles while chasing.

i suggest we should cut all missiles costs in half (yes half, these are way to expensive) except for the predator and kermaculite missiles.

i think this belongs in my missiles thread, which leaves heavy missiles as is, and changes roles/function of light missiels
