Cruiser Command

I vote that the destroyer has the default fire button changed from Q to F, as everything else that shoots projectiles uses F for Fire, instead of P for Plasma or L for Lasers or Q for Quantum. This is really minor and can be changed in the hotkey menu, but I really enjoy the fact that the hotkeys are already set properly through the map, hence the suggestion for default of F.

im sorry but Q is kinda easier to reach for me and quantam bombardment begins with the letter Q it makes a wee bit for sense

I understand your concern zakhennahr, however I'll have to get some input from more people before I make a decision in this matter.

Making it F would be more consistent.

Back in my day, we had to reach all the way across the keyboard to hit the hotkeys for multiple things, several hundred times a game! There weren't even hotkeys for yet more things, and convoluted solutions to do what was needed just a second faster were practiced until practical to use!

I don't care either way, and can't believe you young spoiled heathens would have the gall to complain of such a minute nuisance.

This is not a complaint. I placed it in suggestions because that is exactly what it is, a suggestion for changing a default to what I see being more consistency, since everything uses F for fire. Can people give reasons for or against changing this default hotkey to shoot? A discussion would be preferred to filler content.

Yes, I'm sorry. I got obsessed with my post count for a while. I think the hotkey should be changed to F for consistency, but I'd be interested to see what others have to say.
