Cruiser Command

Hanger is the only console that you can't use the escape key to exit out of. For consistency purposes it would be great if the escape key worked in the hanger too.

I second this suggestion. Hotkeys are especially appealing when trying to move fast (transfer, ping, powerdock, etc), and this sort of breaks the flow just a bit.

That being said, I will wager a guess that this is that console you can't yet use ESC to disconnect from, simply because it does not have its own command card. When you sit on another console, I am pretty sure another unit (or the actual console object in game) is selected with the abilities of the console, such as increase / decrease shields, etc., which includes "Leave Console - Esc".

It may be the case that it is not easily possible to do this.

If I may semi-hijack this thread, one idea which would fix this is if every ship was given one, and only one hangar spot. Then when you stepped on a dock, you would 'enter' the ship you want to use, and you could hit escape on that ship when docked to 'exit' it. This was mentioned in a previous thread as something Siretu was thinking about, I think.

This is actually a bug. There is a console that you're supposed to select but for some reason you dont. I'll look into it.
