Numberpad Hotkeys

From what I knew, 1-6 used to be keyed to marine inventory, but... it doesn't seem to be working anymore (well last few games i played)

This is due to the new boarding inventory with a weapon and armor slot. Unfortunately, it has broken the numberpad hotkeys.
I know why and I don't think there's a way to fix it. I'm sorry.

Good to know. I appreciate the Weapon and Armor slots more than the number-pad hot-keys.

The reason they don't work is because I'm using a container(think of it like a bag inside the inventory). So the inventory is just one single slot and it's hidden and everytime you select your unit, I automatically make it open the container that looks like a normal inventory with a weapon and armor slot.
There are some problems with this. The biggest one I can think of is that you cant see what someone is carrying in a replay. I'm going to try and look for a fix for that.
