well the community picks up every time a patch is introduced because Blizzard has a system that puts a game that is new or new development on the front page.

As I said in the skype chat: I've been more busy than usual and I've had no access to my computer for some time. I have some nice stuff planned for the 2.9 path though and I am hoping to get it out at the end of next week.

It turns out I had already done a lot of work on the path, so I was able to finalize it today. It's publishing as I write this.
