Cruiser Command

Can be Purchased from the Upgrades Console Under Purchasable Consoles -
What it does is modifies the upgrade console
The Upgrade Console console will queue upgrades, and does not require a person to be present on the console for it to upgrade

I dont actually dislike the idea

well i was thinking 5 queued upgrades for
100/100/100/30 like the mass replicator (underused)
but that would be of course, more resonable

Sounds good to me.

5 upgrades queued looks like a lot to me. it basically allows the captain to queue all weapon upgrades and then just walk off. that's like 1 minute of free time. I'd get bored with that much free time.

and thats the point of an upgrade, its usefull and the cost of it will be later in the game where the captains attention is needed elsewhere.

I could spend 300 resources and 30 kermiculite to sit around and do nothing, or use it on small ships and upgrades.

... I think I know my choice. I can see it being used frequently by people who have inferior micromanagement, and can't utilize all their resources easily -- no offense intended. But... rather than opting to add various upgrades that give players less to do, why don't you just ask the players you do have to come back and help..?

Because they dont like being on the BC are rather destroy stuff with their wraiths =(

And because of course who would trust anyone else to do the upgrading? everything must be perfect!

and its not doing nothing, it just allows you to qeue and save time, and its still expensive. We could increase price if its almost seemingly required for every game (like miner upgrades)

No, I don't think you understand what I mean.

I think it's highly unnecessary for most players. Hell, it's ridiculously easy to just head to the hanger and dump 800 resources in chompers if you want even, and save up the rest for the upgrades you want now.

And if you don't want other people running your upgrades, then don't. Have them do the stuff that's distracting you from now doing those upgrades then. I've never had any issues using all of my resources when allowed to do nothing but upgrade. It's easy to spend resources.

EDIT: Believe me, if I had resources to spare I wouldn't be so frustrated at noobs wasting them.

the only upgrade that bores me out of my mind is BC core upgrades. those I'd queue.
but all other upgrades are kinda quick.
