Star Citizen

So I crack open Starcraft 2 for basically the first time in a year, and I rather quickly decide that this is one of the first things I want to do. So I wait and wait and wait...and no one joins.
I would like to be able to play this again with actual people!
So I propose one simple change. Why not rename this map something everyone will want to get in on? I propose:
Star Citizen.
Or any variations thereof (Star Citizens, Starcraft Citizen, etc.). Huge potential there.
One change, tons of new players. Problem solved. Even package it as a new map with a new feature or two, and maybe some upgraded aesthetics.
How about it?

I think the potential for new players is smaller than you think, not to mention it confuses a lot of the existing player base which might lose it and not find it again.
Also, what server do you play on? NA servers usually get 6v6's going, especially on the weekends.

On the American servers theres a group "Cruiser Command Group" that has over 400 members and has an event every Saturday.
This event usually gets 6v6s or more (2 weeks ago we had 36 players playing at once).
You can view the event and it scales with your timezone (for me its 3PM-5PM)
I also stream the event at
http://www.twitch.tv/dreadnought101 though i might start earlier or later, its not set in stone
I also recommend Teamspeak 3
connect to: merwins-island.dyndns.org
Hope that helps.

Perhaps you'd be right Siretu; though I still think it's an idea worth considering to make this out to be an entirely new thing(/repackage it REAL nice and shiny) to give it a new chance at getting to the top of the charts again

Maybe it would work, maybe not. Not sure if there's any way to research the potential to gauge this...
Oh and I'm on North American servers.
@Dreadnought, I vaguely recall something like that existing. I guess it's certainly something, at the least - I might check it out

Thanks!
PS-As far as I know, this is literally the only game like this currently in existence, either in Starcraft 2 or not. Do either of you guys know of any others that are somewhat reminiscent of this idea? Even naval/non-space battles?

There's a similar version in Warcraft 3. Also, I guess star citizen will be similar. FTL is a bit similar, but less engaging combat (in my opinion) and only singleplayer.

Yeah FTL...does not look too enticing, heh. I'd take this map over that any day

Warcraft 3 though...I'm just gonna join that group I guess, lol. Btw - who is the creator of this map as my last question?

You know what could really catch peoples attention? using the Korean form of 'Cruiser Command' as part of the name - I think its roughly....크루저 명령 but we can get Sharp in here to first...laugh at me, then give the proper way to say it because Korean is hella hard.
Because on the Korean servers the words 'Cruiser Command' grabs some attention as its INGRISH!
the same can probably be applied to the american and European servers.
instead of our normal...
'Cruiser Command'
it can instead be
NA/EU
'Cruiser Command(크루저 명령)'
KR
'크루저 명령(Cruiser Command)'
