Sabretooth missiles are a far more advanced version of the Wasp Light Missile. Upon impact, the Sabretooth missile will drain an entire 1000GJ of energy and while it may not alter the enemy Battlecruiser's energy configuration it will instead drain 2% core stability. In mass, the sabretooth missile can deal severe damage to an enemy Battlecruiser's power management.

The hellfire missile boasts a fair distribution of hull and shield damage. It sees less use due to the heavy cost of Pyromanite, but each cause a large number of hull fires throughout the enemy Battlecruiser. Several hellfire heavy missiles fired in quick succession could easily lead to the death of most of the crew during an essential fight.

Note that hellfire missiles will cause hull fires even when the enemies' shield is online which can be a means of disabling an enemy BC. (Note that fire does not cause a player to disconnect from the console automatically until the player himself disconnects from the console, but cannot re-enter the console as he is incapacitated.)

An effective counter to an enemy that bombards a Battlecruiser with hellfire missiles is to equip a firesuit.

Buying, loading and firing Missiles
Buying Missiles
Missiles are consumable weapons purchased from the Construction Console. After the missile is purchased it will spawn close to the console. To fire missiles you must load them into one of the six available missile bays on the upper deck on either wing of the Battlecruiser.
*Pic of construction console with purchased missile on missile tab

Loading Missiles
To load a missile simply pick it up from the construction console and ferry it to any missile bay. Once at the missile bay drop the missile from your inventory into the load area, shortly after it will automatically load. Alternatively you can set AI to automatically load them for you.
<br>Missile can also be piled into the load area; when the missile bay becomes free, a random missile from the pile will automatically load into the bay.

*Note:Your marines has a items ability that makes piling missiles into the load area easy.
*Note:To load a light missiles into a small ship use this.

*Pic of missile bay highlight on load area.

Firing Missiles
Once loaded, missiles can be fired from the Weapons Console by clicking on the respective icon found bottom right, above the command card. When fired, the missile is used and a new one must be loaded if you want to fire more. Missiles always launch from the front center of the Battlecruiser.

*Note:weapons AI can be set to fire missiles at the Drones AI console.
*Note:To fire a light missile from an appropriate small ship just click the missile icon in the small ships inventory.

Missiles are consumable
Missiles are consumable since they must be replaced after use. Because of this missiles are usually purchased after upgrades, as upgrades provide a permanent bonus.
