Stuff
~ Every miner is equipped with a state-of-the-art mining laser. This is a constant laser beam that heats up, slices and extracts unprocessed minerals from asteroids. It doesn't cost any energy to use. The laser can also be used on enemy ships, though it won't extract any resource from it.

~ A miner doesn't have any kind of defensive equipment. As such it is equipped with strong engines that can be overloaded to generate a delayed yet powerful boost. This will jump the miner a long distance away from its original position in less than a second. It is used to escape dangerous situations and, rarely, to quickly move across the map (though this is often considered a waste of energy). The jump, however, costs a vast amount of energy.

~ The mining laser can also be overloaded by drawing a high amount of energy. This triples its mining efficiency for 10 seconds. This ability is very useful and can be used quite often. Note: This also increases the damaging potential of the laser.

~ The miner is equipped with a special set of sensors and probes that, when powered, can reveal an asteroid's contents. These sensors do not cost any energy, and require a little bit of time before they can be used again. However, they require the Scanner Sweep upgrade.

~ A miner can return all of its minerals to the Battle Cruiser every 45 seconds by using the Return Minerals ability. They will travel to the Battle Cruiser in an unammend probe. The minerals can be picked up at the Hangar after the reachy the Battle Cruiser.

The hangar is located on the lower deck of the Battlecruiser. The hangar has 6 hangar consoles that anyone on your team can use. The hangar console is like any other console to use, however the UI is quite different (to access a console see this) . The hangar consoles allow players to launch, load/unload items, buy and salvage small ships.

*ADD PICS OF HANGAR

Launching/Docking A Small Ship
Launching
To launch a small ship from the hangar console, simply select the ship you want to launch by clicking it and then click the large "launch" button bot left of the UI. You cannot launch a ship that has already been launched or a ship that is reconstructing (destroyed). Ships that have been taken, by a player or AI, will have a launch icon () displayed, while reconstructing ships have a countdown timer. After launching, your small ship gains no collision while close to your Battlecruiser and there is a 12 second wait time before you can dock.

Side Matters
Launching your small ship from a left side hangar console will launch you on the left side of the battlecruiser and similarly for right side hangars. Spawning on specific sides is important when you want your small ships to safely launch and not be under enemy fire.

Docking
To Dock a small ship, move your ship close to your Battlecruiser and use the "dock" ability. Docking with your battlecruiser instantly repairs the small ships hull and transfers all the ships stored energy to the battlecruiser, this is the reason why a launched small ship will always have full hull and only a small amount of stored energy.

*PICS OF LAUNCHED SHIP & FREE SHIP IN HANGAR UI
*PIC OF CD MSG FOR LAUNCHED SHIP TRYING TO DOCK

Loading/Unloading Items into Small Ships
To load and unload items into small ships you first need to know what a loading pad is. there are 6 load pads, one for each hangar console, they are represented by the blue circles.

Loading and unloading items from small ships is done from the hangar console.
items to be loaded onto a selected ship are dropped on top of one of the hangar load pads, then from the hangar console the option to
"Deposit all items on the pad into the currently selected ship" is clicked (next to the launch button bottom left of the UI). To unload items simply click the items in the ships inventory from the hangar console UI, or to unload all items click the "Withdraw all items from the ship. You can withdraw individual items by clicking them" button (also next to the launch button bottom left of the UI).

*ADD PIC HIGHLIGHT LOAD PAD

Buying and Salvaging Small Ships
Buying Small Ships
To buy a small ship go onto the hangar console and select a vacant ship slot. The option to buy a ship will come up, select "purchase ship", after that you can select the small ship type you want to buy.

Salvaging Small Ships
Small ships remain in your hangar.
Even if a small ship is destroyed it will stay while it gets reconstructed.
To remove a ship from the hangar you must salvage that ship while it is not reconstructing.
Salvaging a ship removes that ship from its slot and refunds you some minerals.

To salvage a small ship, access a hangar console and select the ship you want to salvage and then press the salvage icon.
The cost of smalls ships can be reduced through upgrades.

*ADD PICS OF HANGER

Launching/Docking A Small Ship
Launching
To launch a small ship from the Hanger console, simply select the ship you want to launch by clicking it and then click the large "launch" button bot left of the UI. You cannot launch a ship that has already been launched or a ship that is reconstructing (destroyed). Ships that have been taken, by a player or AI, will have a launch icon () displayed, while reconstructing ships have a countdown timer. After launching, your small ship gains no collision while close to your Battlecruiser and there is a 12second wait time before you can dock.

Side Matters
Launching your small ship from a left side hanger console will launch you on the left side of the battlecruiser and similarly for right side hangers.

*PICS OF LAUNCHED SHIP & FREE SHIP IN HANGER UI
*PIC OF CD MSG FOR LAUNCHED SHIP TRYING TO DOCK

Loading/Unloading Items into Small Ships
To load and unload items into small ships you first need to know what a loading pad is. there are 6 load pads, one for each hanger console, they are represented by the blue circles.

Loading and unloading items from small ships is done from the hanger console.
items to be loaded onto a selected ship are dropped on top of one of the hanger load pads, then from the hanger console the option to
"Deposit all items on the pad into the currently selected ship" is clicked (next to the launch button bottom left of the UI). To unload items simply click the items in the ships inventory from the hanger console UI, or to unload all items click the "Withdraw all items from the ship. You can withdraw individual items by clicking them" button (also next to the launch button bottom left of the UI).

*ADD PIC HIGHLIGHT LOAD PAD

Buying and Salvaging Small Ships
Buying Small Ships
To buy a small ship go onto the hanger console and select a vacant ship slot. The option to buy a ship will come up, select "purchase ship", after that you can select the small ship type you want to buy.

Salvaging Small Ships
Small ships remain in your hanger.
Even if a small ship is destroyed it will stay while it gets reconstructed.
To remove a ship from the hanger you must salvage that ship while it is not reconstructing.
Salvaging a ship removes that ship from its slot and refunds you some minerals.

To salvage a small ship, access a hanger console and select the ship you want to salvage and then press the salvage icon.
The cost of smalls ships can be reduced through upgrades.

Asteroid fields are clusters of asteroids. Each asteroid field has a size and a type. At the start of the game, the map will be filled with several asteroid fields of different sizes and types. For each mineral type (except Kermiculite) there will be two small fields, four medium fields and two large fields.

Size
The size of the asteroid field just changes how many asteroids it contains.
Small: 4-7 asteroids
Medium: 8-11 asteroids
Large: 12-15 asteroids

Type
All fields except the special Kermiculite Fields are mixed. This means that it has a general type that it spawns, but each asteroid has approximately a 25% chance to spawn as another of the basic minerals. This means that a Veldite field might contain some Pyromanite or Chalcorium as well.

The Kermiculite field is pure and only contains Kermiculite.

Asteroid Events
If there's less than 50 asteroids on the map an asteroid field will spawn randomly on the map. The field will be of a random size and a random basic type and it will be mixed.
Whenever a new asteroid field spawns both teams are notified with a message, however if your team has the "tier 3 economy" upgrade then the new field will also be pinged on the minimap for your team.
Strong anti-capital ship. Good for dealing terrible, terrible damage to the enemy Battlecruiser.

Abilities
Pro tips
* The Destroyer's Quantum Bombardment attack is long ranged, make good use of its range when attacking the enemy Battlecruiser.
* Use the Destroyer in combination with a Predator Heavy Missile, or frequent navigation pings. This way you can aim your shots from outside the view range of the enemy Battlecruiser.
* Do not pilot the destroyer unless the team requests you to do so. It is an extremely expensive ship, and losing it needlessly is a sure-fire way to annoy your team-mates and potentially lose the game. In addition, the Destroyer provides valuable energy regeneration to the Battlecruiser while docked, which is lost if you're flying it out in space for no reason.
* Make sure you launch on the correct side of the Hangar if asked to pilot the Destroyer, so that you may use the Battlecruiser as a shield against enemy fire. Coordinate with your Navigator for this.

Current Version - v2.5 (24/5 - 2013)
- Fixed a bug which could happen if you used launch infiltrator several times in a short period of time.

- When switching to a drone, the order dropdown will also switch to its current order.

- Changed the Repair Bot death sound to Mule death.

- Updated the tooltip of Nanite Transfer to correctly show the new percentage-based heal.

- Updated the fusion core upgrade tooltip since it isn’t actually supposed to impact core recovery.

- Changed cost of mass replicator from 120/120/120/60 to 100/100/100/30.

- Fixed a resource refund glitch.

- Added a new AI role: Science console. The AI will automatically power transfer nearby friendly ships, purge core when necessary and use iron curtain when useful. It will also load the yamato if you set that
option in the drone console.

- Fixed an issue that could happen if you launched too many ships at once.

- Fixed an issue where killing drone miners would cause an internal navigation slot to become unusable forever(related to bug fix above).

Current Version - v2.4 (15/5 - 2013)

- Reduced life of auto-turrets from 100 to 50.

- Frequency Nullifier is now considered an armor. Only one can be equipped at a time.

- Frequency Nullifier now drains 1hp/s when equipped.

- Removed the unnecessary repair button on the marine command card.

- Removed the kermiculite cost of the firesuit.

- Firesuit no longer prevents sprint but instead reduces movement speed by 10%.

- Reduced attack damage of ARC12 rifle from 20 to 15.

- Changed the way boarding works. The infiltrator no longer switches hangars and you can now board while the enemy hangar is full.

- Fixed a drone console issue which caused the order/status to update incorrectly.

- Added an option for gunnery AI to fire missiles.

- Fixed a bug which caused the music to not play.
The frequency nullifier, when equipped on your small ship, will render it undetectable to wraith and cruiser pings. Visually the ship will be unchanged. This item can also make the marine wearing it unattackable by turrets, but however it drains 1hp/second. However, these effects only occur if the Marine is equipping the nullifier rather than having it in his normal inventory.

Basics
The Infiltrator is the only small ship able to enter the enemy hangar. It is so far the fastes ship, but also the weakest one. It is very usefull to scout, because it doesnt appear on the minimap as a hostile ping. Boarding can be used to cause confusion or to block important routes within the enemy battlecruiser by using C4. One team can only obtain one Infiltrator at the same time.

Abilities
-The Infiltrator is the only ship able to enter the enemy battlecruisers hangar and therefore the only way to change the battlecruiser. This ability can be used within a range of 5 around the enemy battlecruiser. However the Infiltrator doesn´t appear in the enemy hangar, therefore it can´t be used by the enemy team. The ability has a cooldown of 15 seconds.

-The Infiltrator can activate the ability to pass through any objects , including laser shots, for four seconds. This is very useful while approaching the enemy battlecruiser, because the infiltrator cant take many shots and is very vunerable.

-The Infiltrator is always nullified, which means that it doesn´t appear on any hostile radar pings. It´s a passive ability of the Infiltrator.

Tips & Hints
-While Boarding its highly recommended to wear a Frequency Nullifier(to prevent damage from the turrets) and in addition to that Nanodoc Gloves(to heal the damage caused by the Nullifier),because without them the marines faints during the flight.

-It is possible to make the Infiltrator tougher by putting a few Small Shield Generator into the ship. This improves the durability and therefore makes it possible to scout longer.

* Nanodoc Gloves - An accessoir which is not an armor, therefore you can carry it while wearing a different armor. The gloves regenerate 1hp/sec and have an active ability which heals a friendly unit for 25hp. The effect of the gloves does not stack and cost 0/10/0/10 per item.

* Adaptive Photo Disguise - An armor which makes you harder to see and the enemy has to click directly on your marine to attack it(no A-move possible). It costs 0/15/0/10 per item.

* Frequency Nullifier - An armor that makes the marine unattackable for turrets and mines, but also drains the marines hp 1/sec. It costs 0/20/50/20 per item.

* Revive Kit - A consumable which can revive a friendly and fainted marine. It costs no minerals and has no coolsdown.

* C-4 Charge - A consumable that after planted causes a big explosion, 1000 hull damage, many Debris and fire, after 30 seconds. However the planted charge is easy to destroy (it has only 25hp). The destruction of the charge prevents the explosion. It costs 0/0/50/0 per charge/item.

Ship Items
* EMP Mine - This item equips the Minelayer with EMP Mines which deal moderate damage and slow the targetted enemy vessel down. It costs 5/5/95/0 and has 10 charges. Only usable by the Minelayer.

* Distress Beacon - This item equips the Minelayer with Distress Beacons, these beacons appear on every ping as a mining ship. It can confuse the enemy and can buy a lot of time to mine. The item costs 5/5/95/0 and it has 5 charges. It is only usable by the Minelayer.

* Frequency Nullifier - When this item is equipped or on a Small Ship this ship will become undetectable for every kind ping. The item costs 0/20/50/20 per item and is usable by every ship, except the Infiltrator.

* Small Shield Generator - This item generates a shield with 100hp, protecting the ship in which it is installed. The effect of the Shield Generator stacks with other ones, so it is possible to have a shield with more than 100hp. It costs 10/50/0/0 and is usable on all Small Ships.

Others
* Repair Station - This item repairs the hull of the battlecruiser and removes Debris. It repairs 3hp/sec this rate is upgradeable with Nanobot Miniaturization. It has no costs but a cooldown of 20 seconds and a maximum number of charges(20).

Photon condenser is an effective way of allowing a Corvette's normally slow projectiles to actually connect with a variety of Small Ships that would normally be able to dodge, such as the Miner and Wraith. While it doesn't contribute much to actual damage, it creates a situation where it's much more difficult to dodge the Corvette's cone of fire effectively allowing shots that would have normally missed to hit; in this sense, Photon Condenser can be considered an increase in damage to non-stationary targets.

It is likely the best missiles to use against Small Ships since it is easy to aim at a short distance.
Navigation Console

Siretu:

The navigation console is a powerful station which controls the direction and throttle of the Battle cruiser on top of several fulfilling several other minor roles. Not only does the station control the ship's velocity, but it also acts as an early game tool for detection through the use of radar ping. Upgrades will also allow the console to gain access to a multitude of abilities, including engine boost, broadside lasers, tractor beam, inertial nullifier field, and the renowned Yamato cannon. Navigation is very difficult and requires a lot of knowledge to execute effectively, it is common to let one of your more experienced players handle it.

Early Game Navigation
During the early game phase, the navigation console will primarily be used for radar pings in order to detect the positions of various small ships, such as miners or a potentially deadly wraith. Normally a battle cruiser will not need to move during the early phases unless the team decides to chomp, is rushing the opposing team, or is responding to an incoming rush.

Navigation in Combat
Navigation requires a large degree of communication in the midst of a fight because of the amount of utility that revolves around the facing angle of the battle cruiser. Not only does pointing your battle cruiser in a particular direction dictate fight or flight, but it also aims your broadside lasers, yamato cannon, missiles, and even the direction in which small ships will launch. Often times the captain will lead from navigation as the direction of the fight will often lie in the hands of the helm.

Advanced Navigation Tactics
Engine boost is best used to either chase the enemy battle cruiser, or to retreat from it. Engine boosts should never be used for any other reason in combat except those. Each use costs 3000 energy, therefore if you're not doing something useful with the boost, you should not have used it in the first place.

Broadside lasers are aimed from the port and starboard sides of your BC and are a very strong means of DPS in a combat situation. Like any offensive laser, you should not shoot it unless it will land (BE ENERGY EFFICIENT) Note however that you can fire both A and D broadsides at the same time if you are surrounded by a bc and his allied destroyer, Open fire on both kill the destroyer as fast as you can (Or retreat with a boost)

Missle attacks are a coordinated effort between weapons and navigation. While you're aiming your yamato cannon he should be aiming his missles. Its weapons job to shoot all 6 missles quickly, its your job to count each missle fired and turn as soon as your missles and yamato have fired. Immediately when in range open fire with broadsides (Keep an eye on your energy and your weapons cap, if either become extremely low it is your call to engine boost and retreat (Tell power to give you more power to engines to retreat if he has not already)) If your missles and yamato are reloaded, repeat this same process while keeping an eye on the flow of battle. If the fight is not in your favor consider retreat!

A support ship. It is one of the fastest small ships, alongside the miner. It is not very tough but has a high energy storage and regeneration.

Abilities
* The minelayer can drop a mine which will travel towards the most nearby enemy and explode. The usual amount of mines carried by the minelayer is 25 but it can be extended. However when the minelayer docks it will be rearmed. The mines are destroyable by many kinds of weapons, including the wraith cannon and the mining laser.

* [EMP MINE: INFORMATION REQUIRED]

* The distress beacon is basically an item left behind by the minelayer which emits a constant signal. It will be recorded by pingers on the battlecruiser and can cause distractions or mislead enemies. It can be constructed with the battlecruisers construction console and appears in loads of five beacons.

* The minelayer is the only ship that can repair a ship's hull (whether small ship or battlecruiser). The nanite-based repairing materials are randomly released from the front of the ship, in a narrow cone.

* The minelayer can also remotely recharge shields in a similar system to the Nano-Hull spray [see above].

Tips and hints
* Many distress beacons can confuse an enemy and make them lose time trying to destroy them.

* Place mines strategically, for example in an asteroid field or as somebody is following you. Beware as mines may cause lag if in excess.

* Nebulas are not visible to all players, but placing a mine inside of one is a clever way to hide them

* Do not stack mines, 1 mine goes in pursuit 1 at a time, multiple will have no effect on 1 ship.

* Your heal spray and shield spray can be used at the same time if you wish to deplete your energy quickly and switch ships.

* A clever mine layer can follow a destroyer to harass the enemy BC, the shield and hull heals are very effective.

-While boarding its highly recommended to wear a Frequency Nullifier(to prevent damage from the turrets) and in addition to that Nano-doc Gloves(to heal the damage caused by the Nullifier),because without them the marines faints during the flight.

-It is possible to make the Infiltrator tougher by putting a few Small Shield Generator into the ship. This improves the durability and therefore you can scout longer.

A support ship. It is one of the fastest small ships, alongside the miner. It is not very tough but has a high energy storage and regeneration.

Abilities
~ The minelayer can drop a mine which will travel towards the most nearby enemy and explode. The usual amount of mines carried by the minelayer is 25 but it can be extended. However when the minelayer docks it will be rearmed. The mines are destroyable by many kinds of weapons, including the wraith cannon and the mining laser.

~ [EMP MINE: INFORMATION REQUIRED]

~ The distress beacon is basically an item left behind by the minelayer which emits a constant signal. It will be recorded by pingers on the battlecruiser and can cause distractions or mislead enemies. It can be constructed with the battlecruisers construction console and appears in loads of five beacons.

~ The minelayer is the only ship that can repair a ship's hull (whether small ship or battlecruiser). The nanite-based repairing materials are randomly released from the front of the ship, in a narrow cone.

~ The minelayer can also remotely recharge shields in a similar system to the Nano-Hull spray [see above].

Tips and hints
* Many distress beacons can confuse an enemy and make them lose time trying to destroy them.

* Place mines strategically, for example in an asteroid field or as somebody is following you. Beware as mines may cause lag if in excess.

Kermiculite is the green mineral. Kermiculite is rare and there's only three ways to gain some:
# When the game starts a few kermiculite asteroids are spawned with high velocities. You wont be able to mine much from them, but they are the earliest way to get some green.
# After 8-11 min a field of kermiculite asteroids is spawned (with the same distance to both battlecruisers). You're notified before the spawn and it's position will be pinged on the minimap. When this field is empty another will spawn in 6-9 min.
# You can use the Matter Replicator to create kermiculite from energy, but this is very expensive
Kermiculite is used for most advanced upgrades and is more valuable than pyromanite, veldite and chalcorium.
