Photon rush is a powerful innate ability for the Corvette. The ability lets the Corvette accelerate quickly straight through obstacles and projectiles towards a point, this includes asteroid fields that are passed by unnoticed.
A Corvettes utility is usually limited by its energy and speed, upgrading Photon rush aids in reducing the corvettes energy consumption. Upgrading Photon Rush also makes the Corvette more deadly and improves its survivability. This is because Photon Rush can be used aggressively to reduce distances between targets, or defensively to gain distances from threats, being able to cast it more often helps achieve these.
