Upgrading [[Photon Barrage]], unlocks the [[Corvette]]'s frightening power during a mid game and possibly even late game during the [[Battlecruiser]] battles. Against an unshielded [[Battlecruiser]], if not retaliated against a Corvette can easily deal approximately 5000 damage if draining from full to zero energy. Because of that, a 50% bonus to damage can easily turn the tide of a fight by increasing five 15 hull and shield damage shots up to 22.5, effectively creating a spray of 112.5 damage per shot. Topped off with [[Photon Condenser]], it can also become quite a dangerous force against enemy [[Destroyer]]s which possess poor turning rates.
