* The minelayer can drop a mine which will travel towards the most nearby enemy and explode. The usual amount of mines carried by the minelayer is 25 but it can be extended. However when the minelayer docks it will be rearmed. The mines are destroyable by many kinds of weapons, including the wraith cannon and the mining laser.
