The power transfer ability is used from the science console. A package of energy taken from the battlecruisers energy capacitor is shot to a small ship, if the small ship is hit, it will receive 150 energy.
Power transfer can be upgraded into 1 of 3 different types from the upgrades console.
These upgraded transfers provide both energy and a boost to the targeted small ship:
- Ionic Transfer: Gives 150 energy and increases engine speed by 40% for 180seconds.
- Nanite Transfer: Gives 250 energy and repairs 2% hull/second for 180seconds.
- Plasma Transfer: Gives 350 energy and causes target ship to explode violently on death, doing 1200 damage to nearby ships.
