Possibly the best [[Power Transfer]] upgrade to purchase early, the nanite transfer creates a method for small ships to easily soak up a lot of damage and then run during the early game while damage upgrades on [[Small Ships]] and the [[Battlecruiser]] are minimal. On top of transferring 250 energy, any ship with the buff will regenerate 2% hull per seconds for 180 seconds, effectively creating a situation where it can simply take most of their hull in damage, escape, and then return to continue the fight. However, the effectiveness of nanites wears out during the late game since the limitations of small ship hull quickly become more apparent and damage output becomes far greater.
