Ability

The Scanner Sweep is a miner ability that is unlocked from the upgrades console. Scanner sweep reveals what minerals nearby asteroids contains. When activated the asteroids will be colored based off the minerals inside of them.
The respective colors and minerals
- Yellow for Veldite
- Blue for Chalcorium
- Red for Pyromanite
- Green for Kermiculite
Scanner sweep can drastically improve mining efficiency as it lets miners focus on specific resources that the team needs. Also note that Chompers cannot use this ability, but nearby miners can use it for them as the effect is seen by every player, allied or enemy.
