- Boosts are sometimes referred to as thrusters.
- All Boosts cost 15 energy, and allow Wraiths to freely change their movement without changing their facing angle.
- Side Boosts (Left and Right Boost) are innate abilities, while the Rear Boost is unlocked when Utility Tier1 is researched from the Upgrades Console.
- When boosting the forward thrust of the ship engines is ignored.
- Boosts are great for dodging projectiles or running away as the abilities can effectively double your maximum speed at the cost of consuming energy (hold down the boost key to reach the high speeds).
- Projectiles shot out of the Wraith are effected by the Boosts movement.
- Getting hit by a Wraiths EMP ability will disable using Boosts for a short duration.
- Should be noted that the docking hotkey is "d" by default for all small ships excluding the Wraith, which uses "d" as its Right Boost hotkey, instead the docking hotkey for a Wraith is "c" by default.
