Upgrades Console

The Upgrade Console is located on the upper deck at the Bridge. The console is the source of all research and tech in the game. Through it, you can gain access to a multitude of abilities that will support your small ships and Battlecruiser. In order to successfully complete research, the console user must remain stationed on the console for the entire upgrade duration; failing to do this will cancel and refund the upgrade. All upgrades cost a combination of minerals that increase as you raise in upgrade level.

	Dielectric Sensor Recovery	20 100 10	Decreases the radar ping cooldown by 50%. Requirements: tier 1, Max level: 1
	Enhanced Stabilisers	20 30 15	Increases the battlecruisers turn rate by 10% and the speed by 4 m/s. Requirements: tier 1, Max level: 5
	Hardened Shielding	10 30 20	Increases the damage resistance of the Battlecruiser’s shields by 8%. Max level: 4
	Engine Boost	200 50 200	Enables the Battlecruiser’s Engine Boost ability. The Engine Boost quickly increases the Battlecruiser’s speed for a short period of time Requirements: tier 2, Max level: 1
	Fusion Core	50 15 5	Increases the amount of energy created by the battlecruisers fusion power core by 10 GW/second. Max level: 6
	Nanobot Miniaturization	65 45	Increases the amount of hull repaired by the repair station by 50%. Max level: 3
	Iron Curtain	100 60 15	Enables the iron curtain ability in the [[Science console|science console] which can be enabled when the shields are off. Reduces incoming damage by 90% for 6 seconds and all damage taken during this time is converted to energy. Requirements: tier 1, Max level: 1
	Improved Hull	50 50	Increases the Battlecruisers hull by 1000. Max level: Infinite
	Power Transfer	Gives an option to upgrade the power transfer ability in the science console into 1 of 3 separate power transfers that give different bonuses. Requirements: tier 2 Icon Name Price Description Ionic Transfer 50 55 25 Gives 150energy and increases engine speed by 40% for 180seconds. Nanite Transfer 50 50 25 Gives 250energy and repairs 2% hull/second for 180seconds. Plasma Transfer 75 75 50 Gives 350energy and causes target ship to explode violently on death, doing 1200 damage to nearby ships.

	Kinetic Weapons Tier1	40 40 80	Allows access to the kinetic weapon which is specialized at dealing damage to enemy hull. However, it deals less damage to shields. The kinetic weapon can be upgraded further to increase damage and other stats. Damage: 20/8
	Kinetic Weapons Tier2	Only 1 branch of tier 2 kinetics can be upgraded. 	Upgrade Laser	20 10 40	Upgrades the damage of the Battlecruiser’s Laser Array and Broadside. Laser damage increase: 25% per level, Broadside damage increase: 10% per level, Max level: 10
	Broadside Lasers	75 150	Enables the broadside lasers in the Navigation console. The broadside lasers is an array with the laser projectiles that can be fired out of the left or right side. Max level: 1
	Triple Burst	35	Enables the triple burst weapon from the weapons console. the triple burst fires bursts 3 times as powerful as the normal laser and has a reduced energy cost and attack cooldown if it hasn't been used for a while. Max level: 1
	Penta Burst	70	Enables the penta burst weapon from the weapons console. The penta burst fires bursts 5 times as powerful as the normal laser and will detonate plasma charges added by the normal laser for extra damage Requirements: tier 2, Max level: 1
