Upgrade Mine Damage
Because of the expenses, upgrade mine damage is often only used of the minelayer becomes an essential part of the team's strategy, which often requires a 'flight' rather than 'fight' mind set. Upgraded mines can become a particular nuisance if prepared in advance during a Battlecruiser chase, simply because they're quite easy to overlook when preoccupied in a high tension situation. However, upgrading the mines so that extensive damage will be done is, again, quite expensive and still requires a surviving mine layer. It should be upgraded tentatively.
Note the wraiths initial damage is 15 hull/15 shield, when this upgrade is maxed it becomes, 21 hull/21 shield.
