Photon condenser is an effective way of allowing a Corvette's normally slow projectiles to actually connect with a variety of Small Ships that would normally be able to dodge, such as the Miner and Wraith,because it increases the actual projectile speed by 75%. While it doesn't contribute much to actual damage, it creates a situation where it's much more difficult to dodge the Corvette's cone of fire effectively allowing shots that would have normally missed to hit; in this sense, Photon Condenser can be considered an increase in damage to non-stationary targets.
