Power Transfer Console Science Cost 300 CD 45 seconds Description Fires an energy beam at a friendly ship, instantly giving it 150 energy.

The power transfer ability is used from the science console. A package of energy taken from the battlecruisers energy capacitor is shot to a small ship, if the small ship is hit, it will receive 150 energy.

Power transfer can be upgraded into 1 of 3 different types from the upgrades console. These upgraded transfers provide both energy and a boost to the targeted small ship:

• Ionic Transfer: Gives 150 energy and increases engine speed by 40% for 180seconds.
• Nanite Transfer: Gives 250 energy and repairs 2% hull/second for 180seconds.
• Plasma Transfer: Gives 350 energy and causes target ship to explode violently on death, doing 1200 damage to nearby ships.

Drones automatically use this skill, whenever it is off cooldown, when issued from the AI console the science order.
