- Boost refer to a combination of abilities unique to the Wraith that give it superior maneuverability, namely;

- Boosts are sometimes referred to as thrusters.
- All Boosts cost 15 energy and let Wraiths change their movement without changing their facing angle.
- Side Boosts (Left and Right Boost) are innate abilities, while the Rear Boost is unlocked when Utility Tier1 is researched from the Upgrades Console.
- When boosting the forward thrust of your ship engines is ignored.
- Boosts are great for dodging projectiles or running away as Boosts can effectively double your maximum speed at the cost of consuming energy (hold down the boost key to reach the high speed).
- Projectiles shot out of the Wraith are effected by the Boost movement.
- Wraiths EMP disables using Boosts for a short duration.
