Re: Allow BC to shoot at fog of war
No, i like the idea of a spotter and the importance of a predator so it feels like you are homing in on a battlecruiser
before the unlock camera ability you had to get lucky where you where shooting, you still can kill ships and stuff, you just need more skill to pull it off if you dont have a spotter, which makes my point of having a spotter makes the game more tacticle and focuses on teamwork then a one man show. Coordination with your team is key to success, not the one best player

Oh its not orders I'm giving, but rather... "aggressive suggestions".
Re: Allow BC to shoot at fog of war
I think he is referring to when you can see something, and try to shoot at it, and click in the proper direction but the shot doesn't shoot, because the mouse is in an area that is fog of war, even though you are clicking in the proper cardinal direction you want the shot fired and it is within range. You should be able to right click anywhere, and have the bc fire the lasers in that direction, regardless of how far from the bc you click and if it is in fog of war or not.
It is confusing and feels random when you click in a deadzone that will not let the bc weapons fire, because there is always somewhere else you can click to fire the weapons in the exact some direction, and they would hit the exact same thing. If something is out of the bc's visual range you will still need a spotter, the fog of war handles this already by visually covering things up you arn't supposed to see, you can already fire blindly into the fog of war and score hits by guesstimating/skill.

Yes, please allow shooting at the fog of war.
Re: Allow BC to shoot at fog of war
I agree. not being able of shooting at fog of war create all sort of stupid difficulties, like just click a little too far and losing your last shot...

Re: Allow BC to shoot at fog of war
This is fixed in the dev patch which should be released today.
Never ignore coincidence. Unless, of course, you’re busy. In which case, always ignore coincidence.

This needs to be made for kinetics as well, not just lasers.
