If you play too much games with a party consisting complete of noobs, which we do very often on EU, you like to play with the people you know and have fun sometimes. The problem with your post is that you're trying to use points which contradict each other. You're trying to argue that you're allowed to say this because it's only your opinion, hence the "IMO". At the same time, you're trying to argue that your post consists of dry fact and that "a fact is a fact", while the real fact is that this is just your opinion.

I really enjoy clan games like this and I don't want to see them ruined by debates over who's the best team. Ivan, I'm sorry if I seem harsh, I just want to be very clear on this. Starting a debate over this by calling some clans weak is not contributing anything to this thread. I would prefer if it turned into some friendly banter in the clan discussion forum.

There's a lot more I could say on the matter, but I would like to point out that I think LoCC is definitely a top clan. They have 5 members atm I think and all of them are people I would consider some of the best CC players. Definitely on par with the top players of CCA.

CCV lost to many original players (28 to 11) to really come back again + different timezones make playing together rather difficult.
about half of the remaining members do not play that much CC anymore nor get online, if more active i would have little doubt that they would have left. The others im unsure, either they are loyal to CCV or just simply dont care
Even though it pisses everyone off, Ivan is correct in a sense about CCV, Reqruitment drives have ben high but results are very low.

Part 1: Show

The minimap for this encounter has a small cluster near the BC, with spread out rocks all over the map and a large cluster in the center. CCA opens up with earlier miners and a wide search angle for asteroids. CCR gets the early wraith out and has a more conservative miner approach, mining the starting cluster out first. Tivonal is aggressive on science, getting zakhennahr power as fast as possible. Crowbar notices the ping too late and suffers blistering fire and an engine pulse, going down before he can even clear the asteroid field. Crowbar takes the ionic and immediately heads for the CCR miners with Phaeroth following. With a miner, wraith, and corvette down, CCA rallies and focuses hard on income upgrades, getting every upgrade for the miners. CCR begins working on core upgrades but lacks the kermiculite to finish them off. zakhennahr continues the onslaught, forcing Capri to turbo. [img]http://i.imgur.com/hj2obfR.jpg[/img] Both Capri and HuMaNLiSK retreat to the asteroid fields near the battlecruiser while broadsides are researched for CCA in preparation for the kermiculite field. The kermiculite field begins to spawn at 12:12. zakhennahr does not relent, continuing to attack Capri, but HuMaNLiSK immediately counters by turbo boosting into zakhennahr, and with Crowbar on weapons, CCA repels the CCR wraith and safeguards the tattered remains of CCA's economy. HuMaNLiSK is brought down to 131 health before Capri intervenes and shields him from further fire. Fed up with being stifled, Phaeroth launches the new emergency wraith and at 14:57 the CCA BC begins to raise its shields for an assault. Phaeroth leads the miners in formation while the CCA battlecruiser moves, scaring off the CCR miners and reclaiming the stolen asteroids. In response, CCA purchases a chomper and attempts to use it to shield the BC. CCA's shields go down rapidly, and both battlecruisers commence broadsiding each other on more even footing. Part 3: Show

Both battlecruisers maintain a fair distance from each other, launching miners and cleaning up debris littered all over the ships. [img]http://i.imgur.com/oG3QVjA.jpg[/img] CCR's battlecruiser inches away while their miners continue pushing CCR's economic advantage, while CCA focuses on getting engine boost and recharging their capacitors. Phaeroth launches the wraith with an ionic charge, seeking to claw away the economic advantage. He pounces on Weyoun, but Weyoun counterattacks with a turbo boost, keeping Phaeroth off balance long enough for Wildcat's corvette to arrive. CCR spends the time charging up zakhennahr's wraith, who moves out when his energy reserves hit 75%. zakhennahr strafes Capri, but fires his shot too early, giving Capri the opportunity to escape. At the exact same time, the second kermiculite field begins spawning. Capri heads for the field as well, with an ionic'd Phaeroth pushing forward to catch up. Capri arrives, and draws Wildcat north up the field. Phaeroth moves in from the side, flanking and engine pulsing the corvette. Phaeroth lets off a volley and deftly dodges Weyoun's turbo boost, chasing after Weyoun gunning for the kill. Things begin to look tense as both teams are down to one miner left, with CCR up two kermiculite fields.

Part 4: Show

Unaware of the safe return of the CCA wraith, zakhennahr charges toward the CCA battlecruiser, but aborts when he almost runs out of power. Phaeroth, having relaunched, retaliates, with the CCA battlecruiser lending fire support. CCA is content to let him escape, as HuMaNLiSK launches a chomper and begins chomping asteroids near the battlecruiser. [img]http://i.imgur.com/rAXys10.jpg[/img] While CCA's miner and chomper gather resources, CCR's crew is focused on crewing the battlecruiser, manning all of the consoles, diverting power to weapons, and purchasing battlecruiser hull upgrades. zakhennahr's wraith repairs and redeploys in a stationary position, acting as a decoy. At the same time, Phaeroth launches the CCA wraith and parks it, acting as a decoy as well while the CCA battlecruiser goes roaming for asteroid fields to chomp. The CCR battlecruiser boosts toward Capri's miner, closing half the distance. DerkaDerka launches the corvette in preparation assist the attack. He narrowly avoids the CCR battlecruiser when it activates a second boost. Undeterred, the CCR battlecruiser sets course for Phaeroth's decoy wraith, using engine boosts to move in an energy efficient manner. CCR raises it's shields as it closes to within one boost distance. Phaeroth detects that the ruse has worked, and as soon as the BC boosts he powers up and aims to fly past, easily dodging the laser fire from Rachmanioff. DerkaDerka and Phaeroth close in on Capri's miner, meeting each other on the way. Phaeroth opens up with an engine pulse but gets too close, and DerkaDerka lays several punishing volleys into the wraith, forcing it to burn energy in retreat. DerkaDerka uses the corvette like a turret, laying down supressive fire that tears apart asteroids and forces Phaeroth to dance around. Together they draw fire until DerkaDerka runs completely out of energy. They proceed to the third kermiculite field unpursued, with the CCA battlecruiser ready and waiting to chomp. CCR is rallying on the battlecruiser to challenge the field, but their engine power is far too low to get there in time. The entire field except for one asteroid is gone and CCA is boosting away before they can close 1/4th of the distance, leaving Phaeroth and Capri as a decoy for the CCR battlecruiser to find. DerkaDerka moves in and parks in the field, acting as a turret to shoo Phaeroth and Capri away. As no fight comes, CCA eventually boosts away and begins focusing hard on spending money, rapidly closing the upgrade gap.

Part 5: Show

With CCA's upgrade gap narrowing, CCA rounds off its powerdock with a destroyer and quantum leech. HuMaNLiSK focuses hard on repairing the battlecruiser. He is promptly intercepted by Phaeroth and shoo'd away by the entire CCA team. [img]http://i.imgur.com/rN0irBX.jpg[/img] [img]http://i.imgur.com/1kwmHAk.jpg[/img] DerkaDerka moves in, chasing off Phaeroth but getting repelled by the brutal CCA broadsides. In response, Tivonal chases after Capri with engine boost, but Capri turbos away pre-emptively. DerkaDerka moves in on the corvette, hoping to find Capri but instead finds Phaeroth's wraith, eating an engine pulse. The CCA battlecruiser is fully repaired and has a full battery. It heads out on the warpath, setting a course for the CCR battlecruiser. Dumb, I really like how you did the battle report with pictures and reporting on the action. This just makes me want to see other clans play so that there is a surprise while watching, and we could even get someone to cast, sort of like a Cruiser Command Husky!

Not much to see, clan CCR is pretty weak, the only worthy games can be thrown between CCA and CCV, althou CCA is still better, other clans like LoCC/ZergCC are completely out of the picture :p thou a CCR against LoCC might be relatively fair.

Please try to keep from bashing people on the forums. Would you want to explain why, based off of these two games, you think CCR is weak? Constructive criticism and statements related to the topic (excessively fun CCR vs CCA mini clan-war games) validated with reasons would do a lot more for a pleasant conversation.

Edit: In the end it doesn't matter which clan is 'stronger' or 'weaker' (and do define these words, as they are not easy to decode in a game as intricate as CC), because we all play for the fun of it.
