I've been digging some of the wc3 editor back in the days, they both use GUI, but it is pretty simple and from what i see, the only two problems you might be having adding team lobby before game start is:

1. You need to find every place in triggers that call force players of player group "team 1/2", and change it to "custom player group 1/2" you dynamically create at start.

2. You need to find all initializations you make for players at start (if there is such) and change their event from "map initialization" to "ingame lobby timed out".

Not sure how big your code is, my bet is it's around 15 trigger folders with around 30 triggers each, searching each trigger will take around 15 seconds manually. so that's 15*30*15 ~= 2 hrs of time :P

On one hand that's quiet some time, considering you'd be doing a boring boooooring part, but on the other hand making the ingame lobby and fixing the worst problem of cc sounds pretty good :)

When it comes to my code, I actually measured it with the overview manager a year ago. One year ago, I had over 200 triggers and over 200 custom actions(you couldn't make custom actions in WC3 iirc, but think of them like special triggers) in a total of over 70 folders. These triggers represent custom script code of around 24,000 rows of code.

All of that was almost a year ago.
Never ignore coincidence. Unless, of course, you’re busy. In which case, always ignore coincidence.
