Kinetics are actually useful?

They're circumstantial at the moment. If you can grab them before a certain point they have potential against the BC, but afterwards they mostly become useful for small ship murder.

Kinetics are very useful as long as the enemy does not have hardened shielding and utility tier 2.
The BC will usually die before they can get the shields so high that they'll actually regenerate.
