Eco T3

Post by Rohan »

Since Eco T3, is never used. Ever...

I feel it need more Eco. To solve this, I suggest Implementing a WC3 idea. Refining efficiency.

Rather than have everyone start below 100% Efficiency, getting Eco T3 would increase it above 100%, say for ex 115%. (115% is arbitrary number im choosing, doesn't have to be that number)

Therefore if someone refines 100 Raw miners. They get 115 instead.

Refining efficiency? are you serious? that used to be an upgrade in the Cruiser Command Beta, but it was so hated it was removed...in fact it has been removed from the WC3 version as well D=

Also, Econ tier 3 recently got buffed, instead of chompers getting 40% speed increase (which nobody really cared about because they where mostly....standing still to chomp anyways, with a BC nearby to dock without really moving =P )
Chompers can now move while chomping. Not sure if it also applies where they can chomp ships as well, but its very effective, even though i have played with it only twice
You merely adopted Cruiser Command. I was born in it, molded by it.

One day a wise man introduced me to this game. "It shall protect your virginity, my lad" he said.

Dont touch me you filthy casual.

Refining efficiency was in the game a long time ago. People hated it because it meant noobs refined immediately while pros wanted to wait until refining was maxed.

It's worth noting that Eco T3 is getting a rather large buff in the next patch. It'll allow chomper's to chomp while moving.

I feel you both misunderstood me.

The default is 100% Eff. Nobody gets less than Now.

But if you get Eco T3, you get MORE.
Its a nice way to boost income.

It's the same thing, basically. People disliked it because it meant you could get more out of your resources if you waited, so people stockpiled resources and games were slow and noobs refined before they got the upgrade.

Agreed, refining efficiency is very unintuitive.

And Dreadnought, I strongly disagree.
There were several cases in which the enemy BC guarded a major field + the enemy had map superiority in small ships.
That's the perfect situation to use Eco T3's speed-chomper bonus.
That Chomper speed bonus + Ionic means you can outrun anything into BC safety, and you can also safely chomp very distant fields the chomper can hide at, while it would be too risky to bring your BC there when you're weak on BC ups/energy/hull.

Anyways yeah, Eco T3's got a big buff now.
