Chroniton Torpedoes
Chroniton Torpedoes is a fire mode, activated in the Destroyer. When activated the Destroyers Quantum Bombardment projectiles will deal direct hull damage, bypassing any shields, the color of the projectile is also changed to orange.
Chroniton Torpedoes counters teams that rely on shields and have maxed the Hardened Shielding upgrade. A Battlecruiser without any Improved Hull upgrades will get destroyed in 20 direct Quantum Bombardment hits, and a fully upgraded quantum bombardment will destroy a battlecruiser in 10 hits (if the Battlecruiser isn't repaired).
This effect can be devastating especially if your team invest in more than 1 destroyer. Since the attacks become lethal it makes the Destroyer a high priority target. Its essential when using the Torpedoes to either stay out of sight range of the enemy Battlecruiser while carrying a Frequency Nullifier or to take cover behind your Battlecruiser.
