Buying, loading and firing Missiles

Buying Missiles

Missiles are consumable weapons purchased from the Construction Console. After the missile is purchased it will spawn close to the console. To fire missiles you must load them into one of the six available missile bays on the upper deck on either wing of the Battlecruiser.

Loading Missiles

To load a Missile simply pick it up from the area it dropped near the Construction Console with your Marine, and ferry it to any Missile Bay. Once at the Missile Bay drop the Missile from your Marines inventory onto the loading area, shortly after it will automatically load into the Bay. Alternatively you can set Drones to automatically load them for you at the AI Console under the Loading Missiles order.
Multiple Missile can also be piled into the load area; when the Missile Bay becomes free, a random missile from the pile will automatically load into the bay.

  • Note: Your Marines has a Drop/Pickup items ability that makes piling Missiles into the loading area easy.
  • Note: To load a Light Missiles into a Small Ship use this.

Firing Missiles

Once loaded, missiles can be fired from the Weapons Console by clicking on the respective icon found bottom right, above the command card. When fired, the missile is used and a new one must be loaded if you want to fire more. Missiles always launch from the front center of the Battlecruiser.

  • Note: weapons AI can be set to fire missiles at the AI Console.
  • Note: To fire a light missile from an appropriate small ship just click the missile icon in the small ships inventory.

Missiles are consumable

Missiles are consumable since they must be replaced after use. Because of this missiles are usually purchased after upgrades, as upgrades provide a permanent bonus.
