The infamous Yamato Cannon is the [[Battlecruiser]]'s most powerful weapon. Once armed by the [[Science Console]], it becomes available for use on the [[Navigation Console]]. It can be fired at any time, with no delay, dealing 800 hull damage and 1000 shield damage and an astonishing 15% damage to the target's remaining core. Firing is instantaneous, but the Yamato Cannon must be re-armed from science after each usage. Combined with [[Sabretooth Heavy Missile]]s, it becomes readily possible to destroy an enemy's [[Power Management]] with only one or two shots of the Yamato Cannon.
