The engine boost ability is activated from the navigation console. Engine boost is a very powerful, energy efficient method of temporarily increasing your Battlecruisers speed by a large degree. Once researched at the upgrades console, the ability will become readily available. While active, your Battlecruiser will accelerate at an exceedingly fast rate up to a speed of 60.8m/s in addition to your Battlecruisers speed based on engines output. This also works in accordance with Enhanced Stabilisers, which will cause engine boost to raise your speed by an entire 81m/s if your Stabilisers are maxed. As such, engine boost easily becomes a powerful asset for your Battlecruisers movement.

The infamous Yamato Cannon is the Battlecruiser's most powerful weapon. Once armed at the Science Console, it becomes available to fire from the Navigation Console.

It can be fired at any time, with no delay, dealing 800 hull/1000 shields damage, the cannon always fires out from the front center of the Battlecruiser.

If the Yamato Cannon hits the enemy battlecruiser it will also reduce the targets core stability by 15%.

The Yamato Cannon must be re-armed from the science console after each use.

Combined with Sabretooth Heavy Missiles, it becomes readily possible to destroy an enemy's Power Management with only one or two shots of the Yamato Cannon.

Drones set to "science" have an option to automatically "arm the Yamato Cannon" , which will make the drone load the Yamato cannon whenever it has enough minerals.
