- The infamous Yamato Cannon is the Battlecruiser's most powerful weapon.
- Once armed at the Science Console, it becomes available to fire from the Navigation Console.
- It can be fired at any time, with no delay, dealing 800 hull/1000 shields damage and reduce the core stability by 15% if it hits the enemy Battlecruiser.
- The cannon always fires out from the front center center of the Battlecruiser.
- The Yamato Cannon must be re-armed from the science console after each use.
- A couple of Yamato Cannon shots combined with Sabretooth Heavy Missiles, can totally devastate an enemy's Power Management.
- Drones set to "science" have an option to automatically "arm the Yamato Cannon" , which will make the drone load the Yamato cannon whenever your team has enough minerals.
