The infamous Yamato Cannon is the Battlecruiser's most powerful weapon. Once armed at the Science Console, it becomes available to fire from the Navigation Console.
It can be fired at any time, with no delay, dealing 800 hull/1000 shields damage, the cannon always fires out from the front center of the Battlecruiser.
If the Yamato Cannon hits the enemy battlecruiser it will also reduce the targets core stability by 15%.
The Yamato Cannon must be re-armed from the science console after each use.
Combined with Sabretooth Heavy Missiles, it becomes readily possible to destroy an enemy's Power Management with only one or two shots of the Yamato Cannon.
Drones set to "science" have an option to automatically "arm the Yamato Cannon" , which will make the drone load the Yamato cannon whenever it has enough minerals.
