There are eight consoles on each battle-cruiser (BC). Each BC starts with seven and can buy an eighth.

To use a console simply walk into the highlighted circle found directly in front of the console you want to use.
while u stand in that region you will take control of the console and will be able to use it.
To get off a console, move you marine away from the console or press escape while you have the console selected.
If you deselect your console while your marine is occupying it you can click the [[HUD Tabs#Select console|select console]] tab, or simply click on the console you are using to reselect it.

What are consoles

Consoles allow marines to interact with the Battlecruiser and its functions.
