Navigation Console
The navigation console is located on the bridge on the upper deck. The navigation console is where the Battlecruiser is piloted. The console also comes with some extra abilities and weapons. Early on it’s unusual to have a person dedicated to the navigation console. When you access the navigation console, you will be put into "space view" and given control of your teams Battlecruiser.

Fire Yamato Cannon | The Yamato Cannon is the ultimate Battlecruiser weapon. A colossal blast of energy is fired from the cruiser’s bow that deals heavy hull damage and can disable the target ships power. The Yamato will also deal 15% core stability damage if it hits the enemy Battlecruiser.

Moving the Battlecruiser
For basic flying information see flight controls.
To move the Battlecruiser, power must be routed to the engine system from the energy console (see engines system).
It takes a lot of power to move the Battlecruiser.
To save power it’s common practice to fly straight to your destination, ignoring detours around asteroids and also using map warp to reduce travel time.
Usually the Battlecruiser throttle is left on the maximum setting and the speed regulated from the energy console. Doing this reduces the number of players required to move the Battlecruiser away from its position in dire situations. However its direction will be fixed unless someone changes the angle from the navigation console.

Orientation of the Battlecruiser
Using the navigation console requires a large degree of communication between players because of the amount of utility that revolves around the facing angle of the Battlecruiser. Not only does pointing the Battlecruiser in a particular direction dictate fight or flight, but it also aims your Broadside Lasers, Yamato Cannon, Missiles and even the direction in which small ships will launch. Often when you are using the navigation console the captain will direct you on where to go and how to react to threats.
