The infamous Yamato Cannon is the Battlecruiser's most powerful weapon. Once armed by the Science Console, it becomes available for use on the Navigation Console. It can be fired at any time, with no delay, dealing 800 hull damage and 1000 shield damage and an astonishing 15% damage to the target's remaining core. Firing is instantaneous, but the Yamato Cannon must be re-armed from science after each usage. Combined with Sabretooth Heavy Missiles, it becomes readily possible to destroy an enemy's Power Management with only one or two shots of the Yamato Cannon.
