Missiles
Missiles Info
Missiles are a consumable weapons that are loaded into one of the six missile bays of the battlecrusier. When loaded the missile will be shown in the bay at which point they can be fired from the weapons console. Once launched a replacement missile must be loaded to fire again. Since missiles have to be replaced after use they are often only purchased after upgrades, as upgrades provide a permanent bonus. Every missile is bought from the Construction Console. Missiles are split into 2 categories heavy missiles, that can only be fired by the battlecruiser and light missiles, that can be fired from the battlecruiser and also from the wraith and Corvett with offensive tier2 upgrade.
Loading Missiles
After a missile is purchased from construction they must be ferried to a loading bay on either wing on the battlecruiser. To load a missile simply drop the missile from your inventory into the load area, or set an ai to automatically load them for you.
Missiles can be loaded into the six missile bays located on either wing of the battlecruiser on the upper level. Doing so will load them, visibly creating a projectile in the bay, and make them ready to fire through the weapons console. Once launched, missiles are consumed and a new missile must be loaded into the bay. This makes missiles a consumable resource, meaning that upgrades are often touched upon first since they are more permanent. Every missile can be bought in the Construction Console.
