Damn time zones, always so complicated! Also, those times makes it hard for me (from Europe) to play with you, but I guess that's just something we'll have to take. It's not like I play a lot.
I hear ya. The suggested start time is the dead of night (3-4 AM) for Eastern Europe. Those are Degra ...

Re: Scheduled matches
Posted on official Cruiser Command Group
that's pretty late for Pacific and mountain times, which for some players is like starting at 11 or 12 PM
I wont make it Wednesday =(
Um, Red, you've confused the time zone. I suggested playing at 9:30 EST which is 6:30 PST, not 12:30 PST. It is a very ...

Re: Scheduled matches
There ARE quite a few of CC aficionados out there, but getting them all together at one time has always been difficult. I've been meaning to post here about creating some standard times, but always put it off. I want to thank bbot for getting me off my arse.

Re: Mining a miner causes it to stop mining
Thanks for those explanations Degra.
I have a few more comments.
1. I had thought of both of those reasons you gave, especially since learning about mirrored fields last week, however, this was THE VERY BEGINNING of the game, and the fields were towards the middle of the map (and not near the edge ...

Re: Mining a miner causes it to stop mining
OMG, soooooo, that's why DumbMarine was able to casually fend off my attempts to "mine" him during a kerm conflict. I saw he was significantly more damaged than me, and I had Q available, so I decided to hurt him; however, my mining beam was cut off 1 second after targeting him, for what seemed to ...

Re: On small ships, provide keys for rotate right and left
Some camera settings are not reset in replays if I dont specifically reset them. This means that switching between player views will not fix it unless I reset the camera for that player at that exact time. This means that if someone watches your view and you rotate it, it might get stuck in a ...

Re: On small ships, provide keys for rotate right and left
I'm still not sure if this is a good thing. I have some concerns:
* It will confuse new players more. More buttons on the command card is not good unless it fills a need. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if your needs is big enough for me to consider confusing new players.
* It will mess up camera ...

Re: On small ships, provide keys for rotate right and left
The mapping of the keys would be difficult. for rotations you'd want to use q and e, however Q is used for beam acceleration.
Q and E would make sense, but since the object is to not use the mouse, they could be right handed keys like <> (without the SHIFT obviously). And in my case, since I want ...

Re: On small ships, provide keys for rotate right and left
Okay, here's the deal...I'm requesting this mostly to see if small ship control via my gamepad (and joy2key) is possible, and even desirable.
It doesn't work right now because of lack of rotation, but if those keys are added then piloting of small ships can be done by game controller - which might ...

Re: On small ships, provide keys for rotate right and left
It does surely, but I believe there is still some benefit to having the keys available.
