Semi urgent: in-game balancing

Post by zakhennahr »

Need an in-game balancing mechanic.
With new players coming in (Which Is AWESOME), balancing can be difficult in the lobby iteslf, since it autostarts (thanks blizzard, everyone wants it your way, assholes). And then experienced players quit, sometimes we pend invited, to try and balance. But yeah, in-game balancing mechanic has to happen very soon as CC starts growing again.

Well, since I don't like necoposting, lol, or apparently the search button... I'll make my point in the other threads when I stop being lazy, but I think the reasoning for it is pretty important, the CC community (CCC? C3? Something else fancy?) excitingly growing a lot recently.

If we were to raise the game start time to 30 seconds, would that give us 25 seconds or so to swap players around before the game starts, or would the teams still be locked in and we just stare at the countdown for a longer period of time?

Oh its not orders I'm giving, but rather... "aggressive suggestions".

Teams are always locked when there's only 5 secs left.
So yes, 30 secs should give us 25 secs of balancing the teams.

Tbh though, 30 secs seem a bit extreme.
15 secs would be fine.
